This stuff is what I've been doing for fun. I'm not really a musician at all, and everything is done purely on a computer, including the vocals wich are done with a singing speech syntheseizer. If you think the name is unclear, there's almost an explanation...
At the bottom of the page you'll also find my little shell for calling Lame from inside Cakewalk.
If you like something here that's great, otherwise it was still fun playing around with it so it doesn't really matter that much to me.

| What?: | I made this just because I made it. Or something like that. It kind of jumped out. | |
| Music | A monotonous piece with lots of bass. | v1.4 May 2002 |
| Lyrics | Even if it's not obvious, this text consists of messages. | May 2002 |
| She: | This piece has been waiting around in my head for years, and I've never been able to get a clear understanding of how it should sound. For this reason it's included in more than one version here, and there's a clear possibility that I'll get back to it and do yet another version. | |
| Music (3) | This one's easy. Punk. | v1.5 Mars 2002 |
| Music (1) | I meant to say something here about what genre this version might belong to, but I'm just confused about genres anyway so I don't know. It's pretty soft though. | v1.5 Mars 2002 |
| Music (2) | This is a faster pop-reggae-thingy. And it's instrumental. | v1.2 Mars 2002 |
| Lyrics | This text was begun some time in the mid 1990:s, but wasn't "ready" (actually it still isn't fiished) until mars 2002. | 199?-2002 |
| Want, Don't Want: | This is some kind of musical wish. | |
| Music (2) | This version is some kind of a bassy pop thing. | v1.4 June 2002 |
| Music (1) | You could call this punkish rock'n'roll. | v1.3 June 2002 |
| Lyrics | The lyrics for this piece was inspired by Nemi. | June 2002 |
| Rhyme & Reason: | This piece is all too serious. Or maybe it's actually the opposite. :-) | |
| Music | Some kind of rock reggae or so. | v1.1 July 2002 |
| Lyrics | A rhyming tool can be nice to have sometimes. :-) | July 2002 |
| Reality: | I wish this reaction to reality was less common than it is. | |
| Music | This is a short(!) rock piece. | v1.2 July 2002 |
| Lyric | The lyric is short and simple as well. | July 2002 |
| Please: | Well, this gives fairly good impressions of my mind. | |
| Music | Montonous in it's own way. Partly edgy and partly easy. | v1.3 May 2002 |
| Lyrics | Not a very happy text, but that's the way it is. | May 2002 |
| Pictures Of War: | This is something I had to get out after seen awfully horrible pictures from Quana and Jenin on the net. | |
| Music | This is somewhat like earlier synth music (Kraftwerk etc). | v1.4 April 2002 |
| Lyrics | This text is actually a poem so it should work without the music as well. | April 2002 |
| Help: | Som kind if unpleasant depression... | |
| Musik | Music? Not sure. Sound at least. | v1.1 August 2002 |
| Text | Just a bunch of stuff that wanted out. | August 2002 |

I've played around a little bit with some fractal based "music" creating apps, and for some reason decided that I should create a musical piece using the output from one of those programs. Unfortunately the first try was a complete failure, after a while I simply chickened out and used the output for sound effects instead. I played a bit more with the stuff though, and discovered that it actually works even though the reults can sounda bit strange. |

| Fractal 1: | This piece is not fractal based. It should have been though. | v1.2 Mars 2002 |
| Fractal 2: AAahAAA: | This piece done with mathematical functions and text data. You can take a look at the methods used if you're curious. | v1.2 June 2002 |
| Fractal 3: | This piece is done purely with fractals. Rather strange, but listenable. | v1.1 July 2002 |
| Fractal 4: Home: | Another mathextmatical piece. This one sounds like some kind of folk music from a faraway land. The methods in the one is based on my family. | v1.1 Juni 2002 |
| Fractal 5: Pelle: | Yet nother mathematical piece, maybe at bit more mystic than the previous ones. This time, the methods doesn't have any special theme. | v1.3 July 2002 |
| Fractal 6: The New World: | This piece is oddly based upon the geography and climates of the New World. | v1.0 February 2003 |
| Tree of Fruits: | This piece isn't fractal in any way, but as it's completely computer generated I let it reside in this section. This "music" is based on the statistics from the BBS network Fruktträdet. | v1.1 August 2002 |

On to some political pieces, with versions a bit different from the usual ones. |
||
| USSR: | The national anthem of the USSR. I never liked or supported the USSR, but their national anthem was a rather beautiful piece of music. Here it I've given it a more american sound wich I felt would give it another dimension. | v1.1 Mars 2002 |
| A Las Barricadas: | A polish piece most known as "A Las Barricadas". It was used as the march of the international brigades in the war agains Franco and the fascists in spain. For me this makes it an important piece of music. | v1.1 Mars 2002 |
| Colonel Bogey: | This piece is probably most known from the movie The Bridge Over The River Kwai. I like it and thought it was fun to play around with it like this. The original name is Colonel Bogey March, but as this version doesn't sound like a march I removed it from the name. | v1.1 April 2002 |
| Israel: | The national anthem of Israel, with a text I think fits quite well to their politics with regards to their neighbouring countries. If you support their current (april 2002) fighting for more "lebensraum", don't listen to this. | v1.1 April 2002 |
| The Soldiers Are Marching Out: | Yet another version of When Johnny Comes Marching Home, of course with my own lyrics. | v1.3 April 2002 |
| The Internationale: | Somehow I find it quite fitting with The Internationale sings accompanied with machins, so here's something in that diorection. The text is a combination of a couple of old translations and Billy Bragg's new version. | v1.2 Juni 2002 |

| Sedated: | You might not immediately recognice this piece, but it is a version of Ramone's old hit. | v1.0 Mars 2002 |
| Willhem Tell: | A more modern version of the old classic Willhelm Tell Overture. When I did this I was feeling annoyed at the TV stations because they almost never air any classical music a times when people actually watch TV, and I kind of thought that doing the overture this way would probably make for a higher chance of it actually appearing on TV even though it's not any better than the normal way of doing it. | v1.1 Mars 2002 |
| Red Dwarf: | A misjudged attempt at butchering the theme from the wonderful TV series Red Dwarf. Misjudged because it's actually not possible to butcher music that is supposed to sound bad in this way. The real way of butchering this piece would be to make it sound really, really good and perfect, with no false notes anywhere. | v1.2 April 2002 |
| 4'33": | This is a punkrock version of John Cage's classic piece 4 minutes and 33 seconds, made for all those people that prefer fast rock to piano sonatas. The main difference to the original performance and most of those following it is that this version is played with drums and electric guitars (on bad overdriven amps) in a much faster tempo. To be correct I should probably have renamed it to 1'08" as that is the total time of the three movements in this version, not counting breaks and count-ins, but I thought that would just be confusing. | v1.0 April 2002 |
| Anarchy In The UK: | This piece is a lot harder to recognize than the Sedated cover. As the name implies it's a version of the Sex Pistol's song Anarchy In The UK. The reason for it not being placed in the political section is that it is instrumental and too far from the original. | v1.0 April 2002 |

| Cakewalk MP3 Shell Documentation: |
This little hack is an odd creature I put together because I wanted Cakewalk Sonar (though it probably works with other Cakewalk apps as well) to call Lame instead of the Cakewalk MP3 Encoder. I't written entirely to suit me, so read the documentation before deciding if you want it. | May 2002 |
| Cakewalk MP3 Shell Installation: |
A self installing file for the little shell. This installation also includes Lame, but it's optional to let it instal that software as well. | v0.00 a0 May 2002 |
If you get into your mind that you want to tell me something about the music here, just send me a mail.

PS. Actually, not everything here is purely artificial. The air raid sirens in "Pictures of War" was recorded in Belgrad under siege, and to my knowledge the bomb in the same piece is a real a-bomb.
